Abstract:
Concrete mixtures with high volumes of fly ash can exhibit retarded setting and strength development. Various admixture and cement-fly ash combinations were evaluated to determine the impacts of cement alkali and fly ash calcium oxide contents on setting time and 1-day compressive strength.
