ACI Foundation MENA Student Excellence Award: The ACI Foundation is now accepting applications for the prestigious MENA Student Excellence Award for the 2027-2028 academic year. Recipients receive: A $7,000 USD educational stipend to help cover tuition, housing, books, and academic materials. Travel support to attend one North American ACI Concrete Convention for an in-person finalist interview, one ACI Middle East Conference, and travel within the Middle East to obtain ACI certification. Approved travel expenses are covered by the scholarship program and are subject to applicable laws and regulations. Professional recognition in Concrete International magazine and on the ACI Foundation website. Applicants must be enrolled at a college or university in one of the following countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, or Saudi Arabia. Awarded to graduate students who demonstrate a significant commitment to research and study in the cement and concrete field and who show a strong motivation to contribute to the advancement of the concrete industry. Must be in a concrete-related degree program; for example, construction, construction management, design, structures, architecture, or materials. The Application deadline is November 1, 2026.
