ACI International Summit offers a forum for global perspectives in Honolulu, Hawaii

From September 8 – 12, 2026 the American Concrete Institute (ACI) hosted the ACI International Summit in Honolulu, Hawaii, bringing together industry leaders, practitioners, and decision makers from around the world. Participants explored topics of global relevance to the design, construction, performance, and sustainability of concrete structures.

The event opened with the Code Summit, where experts and decision makers discussed the adoption, implementation, and continued development of concrete building codes and standards. Topics included emerging construction materials, regional challenges to code adoption, and opportunities to expand the use of ACI standards around the world. The Chapter Roundtable provided a forum for ACI chapter representatives to discuss new proposals, exchange ideas, and learn more about resources available to all ACI chapters to support chapter activities.
