PRO: An ACI Center of Excellence for Advancing Productivity has been named Best Concrete Constructability Education Resource 2026 – USA in the BUILD Magazine Construction and Engineering Awards 2026, recognizing the organization’s leadership in advancing productivity through practical, industry-focused education. The award recognizes the Constructability Blueprint, PRO’s flagship digital resource designed to help project owners, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders improve design collaboration and deliver more efficient concrete construction projects. The annual BUILD Construction and Engineering Awards celebrate organizations that demonstrate excellence, innovation, and measurable impact across the global construction industry. PRO was recognized for its commitment to providing accessible, actionable guidance that improves constructability and reduces inefficiencies throughout the construction cycle. “The Constructability Blueprint cannot replace design collaboration. It was created to help bridge the gap between design and construction from the earliest stages of a project by leveraging concrete construction expertise during design,” said Phil Diekemper, executive director, PRO. “Receiving this recognition from BUILD Magazine is a testament to the dedication of our Members, volunteers, and Allied Organizations who continue to advance constructability and productivity across the concrete industry.” Since its launch, the Constructability Blueprint has continued to evolve with new technical content and expanded accessibility. In 2026, PRO released the third section of the Blueprint, System-Specific Constructable Design Principles, and introduced a Spanish-language edition to broaden its reach among construction professionals worldwide. As an initiative of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), PRO brings together industry leaders committed to improving the way concrete projects are planned, designed, and built. Through education, research, and collaboration, PRO continues to develop resources that drive better project outcomes, enhance the value of concrete structures, and strengthen the industry’s focus on productivity and constructability. The Constructability Blueprint is available as a free digital resource at ConcreteProductivity.org.
