NEU: An ACI Center of Excellence for Carbon Neutral Concrete is excited to welcome Prometheus Materials as a new member. Headed by a clean-tech veteran and co-founded by a team of renowned scientists and engineers from the University of Colorado Boulder, Prometheus Materials is inspired by processes in nature and seeks to learn from them to deliver clean, efficient results that support the building industry. With ProZERO™, Prometheus Materials reduces concrete's carbon impact to negative. The process combines microalgae with a natural constituent blend to create a sustainable alternative to standard concrete. Prometheus Materials is joining NEU as a Growth Member, a new membership category reserved for new, up-and-coming materials and technology companies. NEU and its members support the continued advancement of low carbon and sustainable concrete technologies in the built environment.
