Concrete Contractor, the nationally recognized digital brand serving concrete construction professionals, has named the Constructability Blueprint from PRO: An ACI Center of Excellence for Advancing Productivity a 2026 Concrete Contractor Top Products award winner. The 2026 Concrete Contractor Top Products Award represents the concrete industry’s best products gaining interest from concrete contractors and general contractors who self-perform concrete alike. The awarded products, exhibiting innovation and utility, were chosen based on submitted nominations and their potential impact into the concrete industry by the Concrete Contractor editorial team. "As concrete contractors work through the challenges of the industry, tool and equipment manufacturers continue to aim at assisting contractors to work as efficiently and productively as possible," says Jonathan Kozlowski, editor-in-chief of Concrete Contractor . "The recipients of this year's Concrete Contractor Top Products award represent this mentality with innovative ideas and practical solutions, challenging the way the job can be done." The Constructability Blueprint is a free digital guide targeting concrete industry stakeholders, including project owners, designers, and contractors. It is designed to help improve concrete construction productivity by promoting better collaboration between designers and builders, reducing rework, and enabling more efficient project planning and delivery. “Constructability is most effective when considered during the early design stage, leveraging the potential of the contractor’s skills, technology, and advanced systems with novel solutions that maximize the project owner’s value,” said Phil Diekemper, executive director, PRO. “On behalf of all PRO members, volunteers, and allied organizations, we thank Concrete Contractor for recognizing the importance of this document.” The Constructability Blueprint continues to evolve with input from industry experts and practitioners. In April 2026, PRO added Section 3 to the Blueprint, titled System-Specific Constructable Design Principles. That same month, PRO released the Blueprint in Spanish to address a critical need beyond English-speaking stakeholders. The Constructability Blueprint will continuously evolve and expand its constructability concepts, drawing on input from members and other proven experts in concrete industry productivity. The digital guide is available to download at no cost through PRO’s website at concreteproductivity.org/constructabilityblueprint. Visit forconstructionpros.com to view the full list of winners.
