The American Concrete Institute (ACI) announced its record-breaking 2026 Spring Concrete Convention attendance, including industry professionals from over 40 countries. The international efforts at each convention reflect ACI’s continued work to increase global participation and disseminate industry knowledge worldwide.
International Activities at 2026 Spring Convention:
The ACI international team convened with distinguished representatives from three key global regions—Latin America, Western Europe, and Asia Pacific—highlighting the organization’s continued commitment to international collaboration. During these meetings, ACI signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with FIB (The International Federation for Structural Concrete), IBRACON (Instituto Brasileiro Do Concreto), and Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT). This latest collaboration adds to ACI’s expanding portfolio of international relationships, now numbering more than 75 organizations.
The FRP Composites Student Competition featured 43 teams from the USA, Bangladesh, Canada, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Poland, Guatemala, Columbia, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico. The Mortar Workability Student Competition will be held on October 11, 2026 at the Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta, GA, USA. Registration is open now and will close on September 1, 2026. The American Concrete Institute (ACI) also recognized a distinguished group of Chapters from around the world with Excellent and Outstanding ACI Chapters. Winners included chapters from the USA, India, Mexico, Canada, the Philippines, Singapore, Peru and the Republic of Columbia.
