The American Concrete Institute (ACI) announced that its Spring 2026 ACI Concrete Convention held in Rosemont, IL, set a new attendance record, welcoming nearly 2,300 industry professionals from around the world, representing 42 different countries. This milestone marks the highest attendance at an ACI Concrete Convention, reflecting the growing demand for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across the global concrete industry.
The convention brought together engineers, architects, contractors, suppliers, academics, researchers, and students for a comprehensive program featuring technical sessions, committee meetings, educational courses, and networking events. Attendees engaged in discussions on the latest advancements in concrete materials, resilience, sustainability, and construction technologies.
“This ACI Concrete Convention underscores the strength and momentum of the concrete industry, as well as the value of coming together to solve shared challenges,” said Frederick H. Grubbe, executive vice president, ACI. “With record-setting attendance, the Spring 2026 ACI Concrete Convention reinforces ACI’s role as a leading authority within the concrete industry.”

The next ACI Concrete Convention in Atlanta, GA, October 11 – 14, will continue building on this momentum, offering more opportunities for professionals to connect, learn, and lead the future of concrete.
