The seminar will bring together distinguished experts, academics, government representatives, engineers and industry leaders from Singapore and overseas to exchange knowledge and perspectives on the future of concrete and the built environment.
The technical programme will address a broad spectrum of emerging developments, including low-carbon and sustainable concrete materials, advanced reinforcement systems, fibre-reinforced concrete, resilient structural design, innovative construction technologies, smart and self-sensing cementitious materials, and the translation of research into real-world applications.
As Singapore continues its journey towards a more sustainable, productive and resilient built environment, we believe that close collaboration among government agencies, industry, academia and professional institutions is increasingly important. ACI-SC remains committed to supporting this collective effort through technical knowledge sharing, professional development and international collaboration.
The seminar is expected to feature 12 invited presentations from leading academics and industry professionals from Singapore and the region, organised under four key themes:
