The Women in ACI Committee has selected Katelyn Hensel to receive complimentary registration to the upcoming ACI Concrete Convention, November 3-6, 2024 in Philadelphia, PA, USA. The program is dedicated to sharing the experience of professional and technical collaboration with emerging faces in the concrete industry by offering free registration twice a year to men and women with less than eight years of industry experience. Katelyn Hensel, is a Lead Technical Supervisor at Ninyo & Moore in Phoenix, AZ, USA. As a first-time convention attendee she plans to attend as many presentations as possible to broaden her knowledge of the concrete industry beyond testing. “As a testing and consultation firm, my employer will benefit from me gaining an understanding of the different processes and needs of producers, suppliers, and contractors. Applications for the next Young Professional Free Convention Registration Program for the spring convention in Toronto, ON, Canada, from March 30 – April 2, 2025 will be available immediately following the fall convention.
