The ACI Student Chapter Awards Program recognizes the achievement of outstanding student chapters whose activities align with ACI’s strategic goal to increase participation and add value for its members. A total of 100 universities around the world received recognition as a 2023 Outstanding ACI Student Chapter. The student chapters accomplish this by increasing opportunities for professional and academic growth, as well as strengthening relationships between the student chapter and ACI and its Local Chapters. Student Chapters that meet the minimum requirements will receive recognition as an Outstanding Student Chapter and receive a perpetual award plaque and digital banner. The students chapters will receive recognition during in the ACI Awards Program Book and the Student Awards Program during the upcoming ACI Concrete Convention March 24-28, 2024, in New Orleans, LA, USA . The program, formerly known as the ACI Award for University Student Activities, was relaunched in 2023 as the ACI Student Chapter Awards Program and is open to ACI’s 300+ student chapters around the world. ACI currently has 15,000+ student members and welcomes an average of 500 students to the in-person conventions.
