Committee Mission: Develop and maintain code requirements for precast concrete tunnel segments.
Goals: Provide code with mandatory language for the design and construction of precast concrete tunnel segments used in conjunction with excavation by Tunnel Boring Machine, which has now become the predominant excavation method for constructing all types of tunnels in both hard rock and soft ground conditions.
