Call For Paper Title: High Strength, High Performance and Better Resilient Concrete for Bridges
Call Description: The Standing Committee on Concrete Bridges (AFF30) is seeking studies and example applications of leveraging the synergistic structural and durability effects of advanced materials for enduring bridges in the next century of TRB. Example Topics of interest are: The 250-foot girder; 0.7” strand (A415, CFRP, 2205) combined with HPC; UHPC with 300+ ksi strand; FRC and ECC with FRP for improved rotation; Hybrid reinforcing systems (FRP & Steel); and Concrete Filled Tubes with novel material combinations.
