Spectoberfest! ACI 301-20 Specifications for Concrete Construction Highlights, Part 2 of 2

ACI Committee 301 completed a comprehensive revision to the content of ACI 301, Specifications for Concrete Construction. It expanded the scope of ACI 301 and revised many of the requirements that have been in previous versions for many years. The goal of this session is to show how the design and construction team should use ACI 301 when it is referenced in Project Specifications with an emphasis on understanding the relationship between ACI codes and specifications. Topics include modifications to many of the default requirements within the specification as well as an introduction to new topics.
Learning Objectives:
(1) Summarize ACI 301 requirements for specialty concretes- Lightweight, Mass, Post-Tensioned, Shrinkage Compensating, Industrial Floor Slabs;
(2) State ACI 301 requirements for specialty concretes-Precast Structural, Precast Architectural Concretes;
(3) Describe use of ACI 301 specialty concrete sections within the context of project Contract Documents;
(4) Review the changes in ACI 301-20 versus previous versions for these sections.

This session has been approved by AIA and ICC for 2 PDHs (0.2 CEUs). Please note: You must attend the live session for the entire duration to receive credit. On-demand sessions do not qualify for PDH/CEU credit.
