Presenter: Peter Cooperman, BDL-3D Concrete Printing at Mapei USA, is recognized globally as an expert in 3D construction technology and its applications. He has participated on panels and spoken to audiences about innovative methods of construction, affordable housing, international building code acceptance, disaster resilience, and public/private partnerships. He formerly served on the ASTM Steering Committee: Advanced Technologies for Digitalization of Construction Industry and has been a key contributor to guides and white papers related to innovative and modern methods of construction. Today he remains a committee member of ACI 564, ASTM F42, and is actively involved in discussions regarding ICC-1150 related to additive construction testing methods and future building code. In his current role, he is responsible for increasing awareness and understanding of additive construction materials, methods, and complementary products in the Mapei USA concrete products solutions catalog.

Abstract: This presentation includes an introduction about 3D construction, which includes different types of printers and additive construction equipment, materials and testing, applications projects, and Planitop 3D properties.
