Vector Redesigned Galvashield XP Product Line
Vector Corrosion Technologies redesigned their Galvashield® XP product line. These
alkali-activated galvanic anodes are designed to be connected to the reinforcing steel in
concrete repairs or new concrete construction. In repairs, they mitigate the formation of
ring anode corrosion in the surrounding chloride-contaminated concrete. In new
construction, they delay the initiation of corrosion. Unique features include a lowprofile,
elongated shape that fits neatly alongside reinforcing steel and single-wire
One-and-Done™ reinforcing bar connection for fast installation. The Galvashield XP4
and XP2 models have the Barfit™ grooved design for secure anode placement and CSP-3
surface profile to promote a mechanical bond with the surrounding repair materials.

Penetron SURFIX DFS
SURFIX™ DFS is a fast-setting cementitious compound used for areas where fast
repairs to concrete surfaces are necessary and the surface must be put back into service
promptly. It provides high early strength—over 2000 psi (13.8 MPa) in 1 hour.
SURFIX DFS is well suited to use in concrete pavements, bridge decks, parking
garages, and warehouse floors, particularly in areas that are exposed to cold
temperatures. It is a one-component product that requires only the addition of clean
water—no need for primers or liquid activators. Without aggregate additions, it can be
applied in thicknesses ranging from 1/2 to 2 in. (13 to 51 mm). It can also be extended
with aggregate for thicker repairs.

AIRMATIC KODI KLIPPER GUN and K-KLIPS
The KODI KLIPPER GUN is a compact, lightweight product used to make reinforcing bar connections. By
replacing manual hand-tying of reinforcing bar, it saves time, makes more secure connections, and improves worker
safety. The KODI KLIPPER GUN is used to apply KODI KLIPS (K-KLIPS), which are made from recycled
polycarbonate resin. Because they won’t rust or degrade, they may be used in even harsh environments, such as marine
applications. K-KLIPS are color-coded according to size for quick and easy identification, and they provide a four-way
grip that is tight and secure. Versatile, they may be used to grip cross, parallel, or vertical reinforcing bar connections.
