Former All-American quarterback Tom Flick will conclude the Opening Session at The ACI Concrete Convention and Exposition Sunday, March 26, in Detroit, MI, USA, with a keynote address titled "Leadership in a Faster Moving World." Flick has drawn on his experience as an NFL quarterback, his extensive work in Corporate America, and his work with Harvard professor Dr. John Kotter, the world’s foremost authority on change leadership, to address more than 100,000 men and women each year on the topic of leadership. The presentation attempts to empower individuals at every level and challenges the audience to create action that is exceptionally alert, externally oriented, and relentlessly aimed at winning. Flick believes that in order to capitalize on windows of opportunity, leadership must be a responsibility for everyone, not just one executive, and uses that approach to inspire clients such as Microsoft, Starbucks, Amazon, PepsiCo, Google, and NASA. The Opening Session begins at 5:45 pm EST and will include recognition of ACI’s newest Honorary Members, Fellows, and 50-Year Members, and will conclude with Flick’s keynote address. If interested in attending the event or registering for The ACI Concrete Convention and Exposition, please visit the ACI registration desk onsite at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
