Research
in Progress
ACI Committee 123 is seeking papers for its technical session on “Research in Progress” for the ACI Spring 2008 Convention, March 30 – April 3, 2008 in Los Angeles, Calif. Participants are invited to submit abstracts on topics including any aspect of an ongoing research program highlighting the overall scope of the research, methods of investigation, test procedures, results, and conclusions to date.

Serviceability
of Concrete Members with FRP Reinforcement
ACI Committee 440 is seeking papers for its technical session on “Serviceability of Concrete Members Reinforced with Internal/External FRP Reinforcement” for the ACI Spring 2009 Convention, March 15-19, 2009, in San Antonio, Texas. Participants are invited to submit abstracts on topics including, but not limited to, recent advancements on serviceability design of concrete members reinforced with either internal or external fiber-reinforced polymers.

Concrete in Seismic Design of Bridge Infrastructure
ACI Committee 341 is seeking papers for its technical session on “The Practice and Placement of Structural Concrete in Seismic Design of Bridge Infrastructure” for the ACI Spring 2009 Convention, March 15-19, 2009, in San Antonio, Texas. Participants are invited to submit abstracts on topics including, but not limited to, seismic design and retrofit of concrete bridges, use of precast/prestressed concrete elements, seismic application of high-performance and self-consolidating concrete in bridges, and computational and experimental tools for seismic design of concrete bridges.

Aesthetics
of Concrete Infrastructure
ACI Committee 124 is seeking papers for its technical session on “Aesthetics of Concrete Infrastructure” for the ACI Spring 2009 Convention, March 15-19, 2009, in San Antonio, Texas. Participants are invited to submit abstracts on topics including, but not limited to, the use of concrete in water towers, silos, aqueducts, tunnels, utility towers, nonbridge transportation structures, and other infrastructure components and systems.

Concrete
ACI Committee 308 is seeking papers for its technical session on “Curing Concrete” for the ACI Spring 2009 Convention, March 15-19, 2009, in San Antonio, Texas. Participants are invited to submit abstracts on topics including, but not limited to, the use of new methods such as internal curing or non-woven fabrics, other common curing methods, or case studies.
