Welcome to the ACI Online CEU Program... ACI's newest online product

This new program is a FREE benefit of ACI membership, and is available to non-members for a fee of $25.00 per 1-hour course. Non-member employees of ACI Sustaining and Organizational Member companies are eligible to receive a discount from the non-member price per course after providing the appropriate Discount Code.

ACI members receive 8 CEU Tokens and may participate in 8 online courses during each membership year and earn up to 0.8 Continuing Education Units (0.8 CEUs), equivalent to 8 Professional Development Hours (8 PDH). Earned CEUs can be presented to state licensing agencies to meet part of each state’s continuing education re-licensing requirements for PDHs. ACI retains a permanent record of each participant’s course activities. If ACI members desire to take more than eight (8) courses during their membership year, individual courses may be purchased.

How does the program work?
The program requires that all program participants register and login to the ACI website. If you are not registered, click on the following link to REGISTER. You will need the following ACI Registration Code: ACI2000, and your member/customer number.

If you do not have or don’t know your customer number, CLICK HERE, complete the form, and we’ll contact you within 1-2 business days with your customer number.

If you are registered, but not logged in or have not created your unique user name and password, click on the following link to LOG IN.

Nonmember customers will be prompted to prepay with a credit card.

That’s all there is to it! Members have free access to 8 of the ACI Online CEU Programs. Nonmembers and ACI members with no tokens remaining have access to those programs for which a fee has been paid.

It’s just a few easy steps from there:

2. Download the reference document for FREE.
3. Read and study the reference document.
4. Take and pass the 10-question exam.

What courses are available?
The currently available courses cover topics such as:

• aggregates for concrete
• control of cracking
• floor and slab construction
• repair application procedures
• and much more

Additional courses will be added covering other topics on a regular basis. All of the resource documents for these courses have been approved by the ACI Technical Activities Committee (TAC) or the ACI Educational Activities Committee (EAC). In the future, articles that have been published in Concrete International magazine will also serve as resource texts for courses.

Who writes and grades the exams?
All exams relating to this program are developed, reviewed, and approved by the EAC. Each course includes a FREE downloadable document and a 10-question exam to test each participant’s technical knowledge of the document. A minimum passing score of 70% is required before a Certificate of Completion is conferred for a course. Each exam is graded by exam scoring software running on ACI’s website and participants are notified by e-mail whether they have passed or failed the exam. Participants can retake the exam until a passing score is achieved, after which a Certificate of Completion will be e-mailed to the participant.

In the near future, Participants will also be able to check their personal ACI home page to review courses which have been taken and to download and print Certificates of Completion.
