Committee Mission: Develop and report information on the use of reliability-based methods in the design, assessment, and rehabilitation of new and/or existing concrete structures.
Goals: 1) Provide input to 318 on code calibration and load and resistance factors; 2) Prepare an article for Concrete International targeting the dissemination of structural reliability concepts and methods; 3) Develop Tech Notes on: i)the use of statistics in the evaluation of the equivalent design strength of concrete cores and ii)risk based procedure for sampling and assessment of structural deficiencies; 4) Co-sponsor 6 sessions on "Structural Health Monitoring" during the Fall 2014 Convention in Washington, DC 5)Sponsor 2 sessions on "Evaluation under Multi-hazard Events" during the Fall 2015 Convention in Denver, CO.
