The American Concrete Pressure Pipe Association is composed of companies engaged in the manufacture of concrete pressure pipe. Normal applications of these products include water transmission and distribution lines, irrigation lines, forcemains, syphons, aerial lines, industrial process water lines, cooling water lines, subaqueous intakes, outfalls and crossings, and internal spillways for earthfill dams. The Expanded Shale, Clay & Slate Institute (ESCSI) is the international trade association for manufacturers of rotary kiln-produced expanded shale, clay and slate lightweight aggregate. The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) is an international trade association for producers of ready mixed concrete. The Association is involved in government relations, market development and promotion, engineering advances, technical research, educational seminars, workshops and conferences, and regulatory issues. The Association cosponsors the CONEXPO/CON-AGG Show. NRMCA sends to its member companies on a regular basis, Congressional Digests, Regulatory Reports, Promotion Pointers, Technical Information Letters and Executive Letters. The National Slag Association is an international trade association, founded in 1918 to unite iron and steel slag processors worldwide. The primary function of NSA is to communicate and fulfill an advocate position for iron and steel slags. Slag is the non-metallic, commercial product, made in furnaces simultaneously with iron and steel and used primarily as a construction aggregate. There are approximately 85 member companies worldwide.

The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) is an international trade association for producers of construction aggregates and pulverized minerals. The Association coordinates and represents industry in product research, government relations, education and training, and regulatory issues. NSSGA is a co-owner of the show - CONEXPO/CON-AGG. The Portland Cement Association (PCA) represents cement companies in Canada and the United States. PCA was founded in 1916 to "improve and extend the uses of cement and concrete." Today this mandate is unchanged and PCA serves as the nucleus of the cement industry's work in research, promotion, education, and public affairs. PCA's wholly owned subsidiary, Construction Technology Laboratories, Inc., provides a wide range of research, testing, and consulting services. PCA also maintains a Washington, D.C. office. In Canada, the Association operates as the Cement Association of Canada.

The Post-Tensioning Institute (PTI) represents all segments of the post-tensioning industry including major post-tensioning companies, suppliers, contractors and design professionals. Established in 1976, PTI is dedicated to expanding the growth and quality of post-tensioning construction technology through research, education, code development and marketing. The Institute develops specifications, design recommendations, and practical field installation procedures for various market segments including Cable Stay Bridges, Parking Structures, Slabs-on-Ground and Prestress Rock and Soil Anchors. The Masonry Society (TMS) is a gathering of people interested in the art and science of masonry.
