Remy Lequesne will pursue an M.S. degree in civil engineering at the University of Michigan, with plans to graduate in 2007 and immediately begin working toward completing his PhD.  Lequesne is interested in researching the structural application of developing cementitious composites which could ultimately simplify and reduce the cost associated with concrete construction.

2006-2007 ACI Bertold E. Weinberg Scholarship Recipient:
Nicholas Stallings plans to pursue an M.S. degree in civil engineering at the University of Louisville.  Upon completion of this degree, he hopes to obtain a PhD in the area of concrete.  Stallings' future plans include either teaching at an engineering university or pursuing a career at a research facility to help improve the progression of the concrete industry.
2006-2007 ACI Scholarship Recipient:
Brandon Stutzman will pursue an M.S. degree in civil engineering at Purdue University.  He plans to focus his studies and research around reinforced concrete design, with long-term goals of obtaining a PhD in structural engineering, teaching civil engineering courses, and becoming involved in ACI.
2006-2007 P. K. Mehta Scholarship Recipient:
Helena Meryman plans to pursue a master's degree in civil engineering at the University of California at Berkeley.  After completing this degree, she is considering continuing on to obtain her PhD.  Meryman's long term career goals include starting her own firm or becoming a partner for a firm dedicated to reducing the ecological impact of structural systems.
2006-2007 ACI  Katharine and Bryant Mather Scholarship Recipient:
Guadalupe Gutierrez Padilla is currently pursuing a PhD in Environmental Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder and is currently researching Microbially Induced Concrete Corrosion (MICC).
