Are students and faculty at your university actively involved in the American Concrete Institute? If so, make sure your university gets recognized with the ACI Award for University Student Activities!

The ACI award for University Student Activities identifies the universities that qualify for excellent or outstanding status, based on points received for their participation in select ACI-related activities/programs. Points are based on the number of student members at the university, university students serving on ACI committees, university students/faculty attending ACI Conventions, the presence of an active ACI student chapter at the university, and local ACI chapter participation in meetings/events and other concrete-related industry (refer to the chart below for details).

Universities that have earned 12 or more points will be recognized with the Excellent University Award, whereas universities that earned 6 to 11 points will be recognized with the Outstanding University Award.

If your University earns an ACI University Award, it will be recognized during the ACI Spring 2013 Convention in Minneapolis, MN, which takes place April 14-18. Your university will also be featured in Concrete International magazine.

To receive an official entry form, please e-mail Diane Pociask at diane.pociask@concrete.org. Forms must be completed and submitted by January 31, 2013.
