Concrete: A Pictorial Celebration References
This site provides more detailed information about the concrete structures and construction methods illustrated in Concrete: A Pictorial Celebration, published by the American Concrete Institute. Photos in the book were submitted by members and friends of ACI. References to previously published information didn't accompany some of the photos, and for these, caption information was based on either brief descriptions supplied by people who submitted the photos or on articles published in Concrete International and Concrete Construction magazines. We also got information from the ACI archives and from a few other publications. Two websites are particularly useful for retrieving many of the articles cited:
