Submit details of your research project for funding consideration by the ACI Foundation and the Charles Pankow Foundation. Your two-page “Research Needs Statement” should be concise, follow the format listed here, and include these 12 sections:
- Topic
- Background
- Proposed research including outputs/products
- Market need (i.e., problem to be solved and users of research products)
- Outcomes intended from research (i.e., benefits for and impacts on building design and construction)
- Industry champion
- Proposed grantee and expert(s) to conduct the research
- Time to market (i.e., commercially deployed)
- Estimated cost of research (even if a range)
- Other funding received or committed
- Any critical timing or deadlines that impact the proposed project
- Other comments (optional)
Proposal should be submitted electronically to both the Secretary of the Concrete Research Council (Joe Bracci, j-bracci@tamu.edu) and ACI Staff for CRC (Rich Heitzmann, rich.heitzmann@concrete.org).
