Airport Shuttle

Go Airport Shuttle Express offers a scheduled transfer service 7 days a week to the Sheraton Chicago from both Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport. Shuttles departing from Chicago O’Hare International Airport run in 15-minute intervals from 4:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. for $27.00 per person each way. Shuttles departing from Midway International Airport run in 15-minute intervals from 4:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. for $22.00 per person each way. Please note that Go Airport Shuttle Express does make additional stops at other hotels on the way to and from the Sheraton Chicago, which could delay your anticipated arrival/departure times. No reservations are necessary for departures from the airport, but are recommended. Return transfer reservations must be made 24 hours prior to departure.

Taxis

Taxi cabs are available outside each terminal at both Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport. The average cost of a taxi to and from the Sheraton Chicago is approximately $28-40 each way, depending on the number of passengers, time of day, and airport of departure.

Chicago Transit Authority

The Chicago Transit Authority has a scheduled rail and bus service throughout the Chicago area. The Blue Line rail service runs from Chicago O’Hare International Airport to downtown Chicago. Get off at the Clark and Lake stop to walk to the Sheraton. For additional information on fares, the Blue Line, or the Chicago Transit Authority, please visit www.transitchicago.com.

Rental Cars


Hertz Rental Caris the official car rental agency for the ACI Spring 2010 Convention. Receive discounts on upgrades, weekly rentals, and weekend rentals. Hertz car rental desks are located at Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport on the lower level near baggage claim.

Attention International Travelers

ACI is unable to offer any financial assistance to international attendees traveling to the convention, but will provide a letter of invitation upon request. Please contact ACI Event Services at conventions@concrete.org or 248-848-3795 to request a letter. Please include your complete contact information, including your address, in your request. To determine if a visa is required for your trip, go to www.UnitedStatesVisas.gov.

 

Individuals from the countries listed below should register on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Electronic System for Travel Authorization website and fill out an application before traveling by air or sea to the United States. If approved this application is good for two years. You will not need to fill out the I-94W form before each trip. This is program is designed to speed up the process for travelers, enable customs officials to screen passengers in advance and improve security. For more information, please visit the ESTA website.
