Registration fees cover the cost of meeting room rental, audio visual equipment, coffee breaks, Cyber Café and wireless hot spot equipment and fees, signs, transportation between venues, pre-convention and on-site materials, and registration staff and materials.

Guest Registration

To process a guest registration, ACI must receive the registration form of the convention attendee along with the guest registration. The guest registration fee includes a continental breakfast Sunday through Wednesday and attendance at the Opening Reception, Guest Tea, and the Concrete Mixer. Guest Registration does not include attendance to any of the technical sessions or committee meetings.

Student Registration

Attention, students! To qualify for the student rate you must be a currently enrolled, full-time student. All students (who are not current members of ACI) will need to provide a copy of their class schedule or a letter from their advisor. Please fax your proof of enrollment to 248-848-3801 or e-mail it to Kimberly.Olesky@concrete.org. Registrations will not be processed until this information is received.

Student Lunch

The Student Lunch is free to students. You must register for the lunch separately to receive a ticket.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your registration in writing and receive a full refund through 9/26/10. After 9/26/10, there will be a $100 service charge for attendee cancellations and a $10 service charge for guest registration cancellations. Special event tickets may be refunded until 10/18/10. No refunds will be given after 10/23/10. Tour tickets are nonrefundable at any time after registration has been processed.

Name Badges

Only registered attendees and guests with a name badge will be permitted to attend ACI functions.

Photographs

ACI plans to take photographs at the ACI Fall 2010 Convention and reproduce them in ACI educational, news, or promotional material, whether in print, electronic, or other media, including the ACI Web site. By participating in the ACI Fall 2010 Convention, you grant ACI the right to use your name, photograph, and biography for such purposes.

Responsible Drinking Policy

Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 21. All ACI-sponsored receptions will offer nonalcoholic beer and soft drinks.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

ACI conventions are ADA compliant. Individuals requiring special assistance must contact ACI Event Services for further information. All requests for special accommodations under ADA are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be made allowing enough time for evaluation and approriate action by ACI.
