Convention Events
With the exception of the Concrete Mixer, all events, meetings, and sleeping rooms for the ACI Fall 2009 Convention will be held at the New Orleans Marriott in New Orleans, LA. The Concrete Mixer will take place off site at Mardi Gras World.

Government Rate
A very limited number of rooms at the government rate of $140/ night + tax are available from November 6-13, 2009. Rooms are first-come, first-serve and based on availability. Please contact ACI Event Services at 248-848-3795 or conventions@concrete.org to check availability and to make a reservation.
| Hotel contracts require ACI to be financially liable for unused sleeping rooms. The sleeping room rate covers the cost of meeting space, upkeep, and utilities of the hotel. Staying at the convention hotel also provides you with the benefit of after-hours networking and easy accessibility to meetings and sessions. Please help ACI avoid these unnecessary penalties and keep registration fees low by booking your sleeping room at the New Orleans Marriott. |
If you have special requests for your room type, please include this on your Web form or when you are making your reservation.
Reservation cutoff is October 9, 2009. Convention rate is first-come, first-served and based on availability. Rollaways and cribs are available for no extra charge, but quantities are limited.
Please note that the New Orleans Marriott is a smoke-free facility. A cleaning fee of $250 will be assessed when evidence of smoking is found in a guest room.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card. Reservations may be made with American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and Diners Club International credit cards.

Cancellation Policy
Room reservations may be canceled up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty. After this time, one night’s room and tax will be charged.
Early Departure Fee
An early departure fee of one night’s room and tax will be charged to any reservation that is checked out earlier than the date confirmed at check-in.
Room Share Assistance
To lower the cost of sleeping room accommodations, consider sharing a room with another ACI convention attendee. Room rates and incidental charges can be setup separately by the hotel.
