Airport Shuttle

SuperShuttle offers a scheduled transfer service 7 days a week, 24 hours a day from the Pittsburgh International Airport to downtown for $19.00 per person each way. Use the special group code 9KUUN and receive $4.00 off your round-trip reservation. Reservations are not necessary (but recommended) for departures from the airport. The SuperShuttle desk is located in baggage claim and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., and a courtesy phone is available from 12:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. when the reservation desk is closed. Return transfer reservations must be made 24 hours prior to departure. Please note that SuperShuttle does make additional stops at other hotels on the way to and from downtown, which could delay your anticipated arrival/departure times.

Airport Flyer Bus

The Airport Flyer Bus route 28X is available to and from the Pittsburgh International Airport to downtown Pittsburgh every 30 minutes for a fare of $2.75 per ride. To reach the Omni William Penn and Westin Hotels, board at the Pittsburgh International Airport on the lower level (Door 6) and exit at the 7th Avenue and William Penn Place (A) exit (approximately 35 minutes). Hotel Shuttle

The Westin Convention Center Hotel offers a complimentary shuttle within a 2-mile radius of the hotel and will also take you to Station Square.

Rental Cars


Hertz Rental Caris the official car rental agency for the ACI Fall 2010 Convention. Receive discounts on upgrades, weekly rentals, and weekend rentals. To make advance reservations, call 1-800-654-2210 or visit www.hertz.com. Provide the group code 0077289 when making your reservation. Hertz car rental desks are located near baggage claim at the Pittsburgh International Airport.

Taxis

Taxi cabs are available outside each terminal at the Pittsburgh International Airport. The average cost of a taxi to and from the Westin Convention Center and Omni William Penn Hotels, is approximately $35-$45 each way, depending on the number of passengers, the time of day, and destination.

Parking

Westin Convention Center Hotel - In-and-out valet parking is available for $22.00 per night and self parking is available for $20.00 per night. Additional parking is available off site at 10th & Penn (one block away) for $10.00 per day and at 15th & Smallman (five blocks away) for $6.00 per day. Prices are subject to change.

Omni William Penn Hotel - Self parking is available at the Mellon Square parking garage located across from the hotel. Rates are approximately $14 per day Monday through Friday and $5 per day on Saturday and Sunday. Valet parking is also available to overnight guests at a rate of $27 per 24-hour period.

Attention International Travelers

ACI is unable to offer any financial assistance to international attendees traveling to the convention but will provide a letter of invitation upon request. Please contact ACI Event Services at conventions@concrete.org or 248-848-3795 to request a letter. Please include your complete contact information—including your address—in your request. To determine if a visa is required for your trip, go to www.UnitedStatesVisas.gov.

Individuals from the countries listed below should register on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Electronic System for Travel Authorization Web site and fill out an application before traveling by air or sea to the United States. If approved, this application is good for 2 years. You will not need to fill out the I-94W form before each trip. This is program is designed to speed up the process for travelers, enable customs officials to screen passengers in advance and improve security. For more information, please visit the ESTA website.
