Registration fees cover the cost of meeting room rental, audio visual equipment, coffee breaks, cyber café and wireless hotspot equipment and fees, signs, transportation between venues, pre-convention and on-site materials, registration staff, and materials.
Guest Registration
To process a guest registration, ACI must receive the registration form of the convention attendee along with the guest registration. The guest registration fee includes a continental breakfast Sunday through Wednesday and attendance at the Opening Reception, Guest Social, and Concrete Mixer. Guest Registration does NOT include attendance to any of the technical sessions or committee meetings.
Student Registration
Attention Students! To qualify for the student rate, you must be a currently enrolled, full-time student. All students who are not current members of ACI will need to provide a copy of their class schedule or a letter from their advisor. Please fax your proof of enrollment to (248) 848-3801 or e-mail it to carole.berrelez@concrete.org. Registrations will not be processed until this information is received.
Student Lunch
The Student Lunch is free to students who preregister by March 31, 2013. You must register for the lunch separately to receive a ticket.
Special Events and Tour Tickets
You must be a registered attendee or guest to purchase tickets for special events and tours (one ticket per attendee or guest). Tickets may be purchased up until 24 hours prior to the event for all special events and tours, subject to availability. Times for tours are subject to change.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your registration in writing and receive a full refund through March 20, 2013. After the cutoff, there will be a $100 service charge for attendee cancellations and a $10 service charge for guest registration cancellations. No refunds will be given for registration and special events after 4/13/13. Tour tickets are nonrefundable at any time after registration has been processed.
Name Badges
Only registered attendees with name badges will be permitted to attend ACI functions.
Responsible Drinking Policy
Alcohol will not be served to anyone under the age of 21. All ACI-sponsored receptions will offer nonalcoholic beer and soft drinks.
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
ACI conventions are ADA-compliant. Individuals requiring special assistance must contact ACI Event Services for further information. All requests for special accommodations under ADA are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be made allowing enough time for evaluation and appropriate action by ACI.
Photographs/Video
ACI will take photographs and video during the ACI Spring 2013 Convention and reproduce them in ACI educational, news, or promotional material—whether in print, electronic, or other media—including the ACI Web site. By participating in the ACI Spring 2013 Convention, you grant ACI the right to use your name, photograph, and biography for such purposes.
