Airport Shuttle
SuperShuttle offers a shuttle service to and from the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to the Hyatt Regency Dallas for $17 U.S. each way. To make your reservation onsite at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, locate the Information Board/Phone at baggage claim and dial the number for SuperShuttle. Please provide your information to the SuperShuttle dispatcher and then proceed outside to the orange shared ride area to locate your SuperShuttle van. The SuperShuttle van should arrive within 15-30 minutes of making your onsite reservation. Advance reservations are recommended and are required for all return transfers. To make your shuttle reservations in advance, please call (800) 258-3826 or visit www.supershuttle.com. Please note that the SuperShuttle may make additional stops at other hotels that may delay your anticipated arrival/departure time.
Rental Cars
Hertz is the official car rental agency for the ACI Spring 2012 Convention. Receive discounts on upgrades, weekly rentals, and weekend rentals. To make advance reservations, call (800) 654-2210 or visit www.hertz.com. Provide the group code 0077289 when making your reservation. To reach the rental car area, you must board the rental car shuttle bus located near baggage claim at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The shuttle bus runs 24 hours a day and departs the facility every 5 minutes.
Taxis
Taxi cabs are available outside each terminal at the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. The approximate fare for a taxi to and from the Hyatt Regency Dallas is approximately $43 U.S. each way.
Dart Rail
DART Rail serves the major downtown hotels and numerous other attractions and districts. Just steps from each rail station, you will find destinations like the Dallas Zoo, Fair Park, the West End, Deep Ellum, and the Dallas Arts District. Parking
In-and-out valet parking is available at the Hyatt Regency entrance for the following rates:
Overnight Valet:
$23.82 per day
Daily Valet:
$10.83 0-2 hours
$15.16 2-6 hours
$23.82 6-24 hours
Self-parking is available for $10 per day at the outdoor Radish Lot that is conveniently located on the north end of the hotel at the intersection of Hotel Street and Reunion Boulevard West. There are no in and out privileges at this lot. Please note that this lot is not operated by the Hyatt Regency Dallas.
Visas
ACI is unable to offer any financial assistance to attendees from outside the U.S. traveling to the convention, but will provide a letter of invitation upon request. ACI strongly encourages attendees to request a visa letter 6 months prior to the convention. ACI staff does not communicate directly with consulates or embassies on your behalf. Please contact ACI Event Services at conventions@concrete.org or (248) 848-3795 to request a letter. Please include your complete contact information (name, address, phone number, and e-mail address) in your request. To determine if a visa is required for your trip, go to www.UnitedStatesVisas.gov.
Individuals from the countries listed should register on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Electronic System for Travel Authorization Web site and fill out an application before traveling by air or sea to the United States. If approved, this application is good for 2 years. You will not need to fill out the I-94W form before each trip. This program is designed to speed up the process for travelers, enable customs officials to screen passengers in advance, and improve security.
