Mission

Develop and report information on the design and detailing of joints and connections in monolithic concrete structures.

Goals

1) Revise and ballot "Recommendations for Design of Slab-Column Connections in Monolithic Reinforced Concrete" (ACI 352.1R); 2) Report on behavior and design of beam-column connections, especially performance of eccentric connections, use of headed reinforcement for mechanical anchorage in joints, and expected performance of existing older joints; 3) Develop technical session.
